What am I buying?
You are buying an exclusive claim on a single word inside WordFlex. That is a record in our marketplace, not a trademark, copyright, domain, or the right to stop anyone from using the word in real life.
What can I do with a word besides sell it?
Wear it, play it in Arena, write the daily line, play the tables, or sell it. One word is enough. You use that same spelling every turn.
What is Arena?
Arena is Larp, War, Daily, and the tables. Larp: pick 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 words. Coin flip, then one word at a time against a person. Majority wins. The tape reads Fair Value, last print, and bids, then the heavier hold takes the word. Ranked is one ticket every 12 hours. War uses a loadout of owned words with bids. Daily is login XP plus the line, both every 12 hours.
How much does a new word cost?
Unowned words cost $2.50 to claim. That $2.50 is a platform fee. After someone owns a word, later sales split 70% to the seller and 30% to WordFlex.
How do I pay?
Claims, listed buy-now, the cart, and accepted bids all check out with Stripe. If a seller accepts your bid, you have 15 minutes to pay.
How do bids work?
Bids work like an auction. You have to raise by a small step, and you cannot jump a cheap word to $1,000 in one bid. The listed value of a word only changes after a sale is paid — open bids do not pump the price.
How do sellers get paid?
Set up bank payouts on Account → Payments. Stripe sends your 70% to your bank after a sale. WordFlex keeps 30%. First-time $2.50 claims go entirely to the platform.
Can I get a refund?
Claims and sales are digital records delivered immediately. We do not refund because you changed your mind or the word did not resell. If Stripe never captured the payment, you were not charged.
Does owning a word give me the copyright?
No. Ordinary words are not yours to copyright just because you claimed them here. WordFlex owns the website, branding, and software. You own the marketplace claim only.
Can I hide or report something?
Yes. Tap the flag bubble, name the person or the word, pick why, and write what happened. We may hide listings or accounts that break the rules.
